Creamy Cranberry Salad


This is one of the tastiest and healthiest salads that are simple and easy to make as well. Salad is also very a healthy dish. Cranberry is an exotic fruit that when mixed with varieties of fruits can make a tasty and fresh fruit salad dish that is awesome to taste as well.

Preparation time

The preparation time for this salad dish is 20 minutes and cooking time is 10 minutes and can be served in 5 minutes. This tasty and refreshing salad is a great dish especially for the summer season. A cranberry salad can be made with a number of fruits like strawberry, cherries, pineapple, peach, mango, and kiwis as accompaniment

It can serve approximately 4 people easily.

Ingredients

         1 packet of fresh cranberries
         1 cup white sugar
         1 packet red jello mix
         1 cup fresh pineapple juice
         � cup orange juice
         1 apple with peel, grated
         1 cup chopped pecans
         1 cup whipped cream
         I cup package cream cheese

How to prepare

Blend the cranberries in a blender till it becomes smooth and pour sugar over the cranberries and stir well till it dissolves. Boil � cups of water and then stir in gelatin and let it cool and set well. Mix the Gelatin in the cranberries and then add the pineapple, orange juice, apple and pecans. Mix well, cover and refrigerate overnight. Whip fresh cream and beat in cream cheese.

In a serving dish, put half of the cranberry mixture and then the mixture of the whipped cream, and then again the cranberry mixture and serve chilled! You can also top it up with a deep red cherry for that succulent look. This is one of the most tastiest and refreshing salads that can be had at any time of the day and especially in summers!
